corrosion prevention / final assembly
Posted by: | Commentsfinished corrosion prevention for all rudder parts. began final assembly of rudder and riveted all parts up to step 1 on page 7-9. Used a trick from the rv-10 list to get the trailing edge rivet into the bottom rib. The trick is to use a chisel on the shop end of the rivet and bang on the chisel with the rivet gun. Makes a decent shop head, but the rivet didnt quite seat in the dimple. Came out okay though.
